What is Blockchain?

Blockchain is a technology that records information by putting original data into a box (“block”) on the Internet and linking the blocks together like a chain. It is also known as a “distributed ledger management system.”

Blockchains are stored around the world and constantly cross-checked to ensure the accuracy of information. It is extremely resistant to fraudulent rewriting and deletion of information, and it is easy to verify past records.
It is used for a variety of purposes, including virtual currencies, money transfers, preventing false information about food origins, certifying degrees, and managing health information.

There are several types of blockchains and MYAKU-N! uses an open-source blockchain (distributed ledger) called XRP Ledger.
